Our Terms

Estimates & scope

All estimates provided by duo creative are valid for 30 days from the date of issue and are based on the scope of work outlined in the approved estimate or proposal. Any work requested outside of the agreed scope may require a revised estimate or be billed at our standard hourly rate, plus GST.

Design revisions

Unless otherwise stated, design projects include one round of revisions. A revision round consists of one consolidated set of feedback, supplied at the same time.

Revisions are intended to refine the agreed design direction. Additional rounds of revisions, or feedback provided in multiple stages, will be charged at our standard hourly rate.

What’s not considered a revision

The following are not included as revisions and may incur additional charges:

  • New or significantly changed content supplied after approval

  • Changes to the approved brief or design direction

  • Additional pages, layouts, or assets not included in the original scope

  • Changes requested after final sign-off

Project timelines

Project timelines commence once the estimate is approved and all required content, assets, and information are received from the client. Delays in providing materials may impact delivery timeframes.

Payment & ownership

Final deliverables become the property of the client once full payment has been received. Working files may be released upon request, subject to a release-of-files fee and at duo creative’s discretion.

Cancellations

If a project is cancelled after work has commenced, all time spent to date will be invoiced accordingly.

Portfolio use

By engaging duo creative, the client grants permission for the completed work to be displayed for promotional purposes, including on our website, portfolio, and social media channels.

We understand that some projects may be confidential or sensitive in nature. If you would prefer your work not be showcased, please advise us in writing before the project commences, and we will respect this request.

Where applicable, we may also showcase work in a limited or anonymised format (for example, without client names or sensitive details), unless otherwise agreed.
